Silversea has introduced a comprehensive, multi-layered set of health and safety guidelines in accorance with our Healthy Sail Panel. These scientifically backed guidelines will help to safeguard guests, crew, and the communities we visit, so we can continue to travel in complete confidence.

If you are involved in a Covid-19 related situation, you will be entitle to a refund, or up to 100% Future Cruise Credit (FCC) for the amount paid, for cruises scheduled to sail on or before 30 September 2023.

Voyage cancelled by the guest

If we cancel a voyage, or delay embarkation by three (3) days or more and you elect not to sail on the delayed voyage or a substitute voyage we offer, you can obtain a refund or a future cruise credit (FCC).

Silversea will offer a post-cruise hotel night/s prior to returning home, as indicated on your booking invoice, depending on Silversea's air programme flight schedule. 

In the case that your flight is the same day, we will offer a hotel day-use. Most of our hotels are centrally located in the city centre, however, we also partner with several airport properties to accommodate guests on very early/late flight schedules. 

Hotel

Sometimes the remote and remarkable needs a bit of preparation. In order to get the best out of your expedition voyage, Silversea will make available all necessary equipment and gear needed so you can get the best out of your trip. This includes: wetsuit and snorkelling gear when in snorkeling voyages, outer wear and boots* for Antarctica and a branded Silversea parka (yours to keep) when required by the itinerary. What’s more, we’ll even throw in a Silversea backpack and water bottle for you to take home!

* Some equipment needed for Antarctica must be hired at a supplementary cost. This excludes Antarctica Bridge sailings, which are 100% all-inclusive.

Expedition gear

Silversea will offer to all guests using the Silversea Air offer complimentary transfers between the airport, the hotel and the ship, and vice versa. 

We regret that we cannot extend this offer to guest travelling under their own arrangements.

Airport transfers

Transfers between airport, hotel and ship

All expedition activities as well as shore excursions on expedition cruises form part of our all-inclusive offer (except in the embarking and disembarking port and when noted). 

On expedition cruises the expedition activities such as Zodiac Cruising, Hiking, Snorkeling and Kayaking do not require pre-booking. The expedition activities are executed by Silversea Expedition Team and are weather and sea condition dependent. More details will be provided onboard. 

On days when the shore excursions are provided that involve transportation, local services and venues, pre-booking is required. The shore excursions are subject to minimum and maximum participation levels to operate based on venue capacity or other restrictions outside of Silversea’s control. The shore excursions are bookable on ‘first come first served’ basis so it is recommended to reserve your priority of choice as soon as possible. The deadline for booking in MySilversea account is two days prior to the sailing date.

We provide you with a wide choice of restaurants, diverse international cuisine, open-seating dining, 24-hour room service, beverages in-suite and throughout the ship, including champagne, selected wines and premium spirits.

Cruises with embarkation or disembarkation in Puerto Williams, Longyearben, Kangerlussuaq and other ports may be included in this, as outlined in the booking confirmations.

Charter/Group flights

Silversea will offer a pre-cruise hotel night/s prior to embarking, as indicated on your booking invoice, depending on Silversea's air programme flight schedule. 

The air promotion is only available to the first and second full-fare paying guests in a suite. 

In case the booking includes more than two guests, they will need to purchase their roundtrip business class airfare. 

In the event Business Class air is not available (determined at Silversea’s sole discretion) or for guests not utilizing the promotional air offer, we are pleased to offer an Air credit of

International flights - Business class

Guests travelling on our Antarctica Bridge sailing will benefit from private charter flights between Punta Arenas and King George Island. This 2-hour flight will be in business class with extra leg room for comfort. Guests will benefit from 23 kilos of checked luggage, plus a hand luggage allowance of 8 kilos. A regionally inspired lunch is included. A member of the Silversea Expedition Team will escort you on your outbound and inbound flights. This flight is included as part of our all-inclusive package and is in addition to international flights arrival and departure flights and charter/group flights between Santiago to Punta Arenas.

Business Class Private Flights

Silversea will offer to all guests using the Silversea Air offer complimentary transfers between the airport and the ship, and vice versa. 

Silversea offers round-the-clock, butler service in all suites. 

Silversea guests can be assured that their every need will be well served – with thought, surprise and charm. 

Our team of butlers, trained to our superlative standards, will guide you through every aspect of your cruise, from ship to shore and back again. 

All embarking crew will be fully vaccinated prior to sail date in order to board our ships. 

(This requirement may differ according to region and country obligations.)

 selected shore excursions (one per guest/day, excluding “days-at-sea”), if available, will be offered on a complimentary basis.

Shore excursions will be bookable on “first-come-first-served” basis. Shore Excursions may require minimum participation levels to operate so it is recommended to sign up as early as possible. The deadline for booking Shore Excursions on MySilversea is 2 days prior departure date.

The “Shore Excursions Programme” is subject to shore excursion availability in each port and guests’ first choice may not be available. The first shore excursion booked in a single day / port, among the shore excursions bookable and available within the Programme, will be considered included, while additional excursions will be charged at full fare. The Shore Excursion Programme does not apply in the embarking and disembarking port.

In case the booking includes more than two guests, they will need to purchase roundtrip economy class airfare. 

In the event Economy Class air is available (determined at Silversea’s sole discretion) or for guests not utilizing the promotional air offer, we are pleased to offer an Air credit of

In case the booking includes more than two guests, they will need to purchase roundtrip economy class airfare.

In the event neither Business Class nor Economy Class air is available (determined at Silversea’s sole discretion) or for guests not utilizing the promotional air offer, a non-use Air credit may be applied.
